As an ALA staff member, you have access to Production Services any time you need to create modern and engaging materials to share with your segment of the library community. Work with the skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable PS team to increase the impact of your communications.
What services are available to me?
We exist to provide internal support to everyone at ALA, including DC, Connecticut, and Philly. Available fee-based services include:

We're ALA-savvy.
As fellow staffers, we have a deep understanding of your goals—and we share them! We also have insider knowledge to save you time and money (e.g. where your logos are saved, what the official ALA red and blue colors are, where to find the files for that project from five years ago, etc). And the more you work with us, the more responsive we can be to your unit or division's specific needs.
We know our craft.
We keep current with software releases and read blogs to learn about new design techniques. We have access to thousands of professional stock images and fonts. We know technical details like the difference between bleed area and trim size and which pixel dimensions are correct for Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram respectively.
We're budget-friendly.
Most work is billed at an hourly rate of $59. All fees are paid via IUT using the budget line(s) you provide. We handle the rest and coordinate transfers each month with the Accounting team. There is no invoicing because the money remains where you budgeted for it: at ALA.
